The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) was founded in 1921 to serve the steel structure design and construction industry. 2021 marked the 100th anniversary of AISC's establishment.

Since 2008, Allmark has been providing AISC certification consulting services, successfully assisting more than 30 top domestic manufacturing clients in obtaining various types of AISC certifications. Over time, Allmark will provide a series of introductions to AISC and the history of American steel structure development over the past century.

1921: The National Steel Fabricators Association was founded and later renamed to the American Institute of Steel Construction in 1922.
