On May 5, Magna was honored with the Innovation Award from PwC Automotive Management Center (CAM and PwC) in Germany for its breakthrough in steel-aluminum hybrid welding technology.

Building on traditional spot welding techniques, Magna successfully developed an innovative method to weld aluminum components to steel. This advancement enables the production of lighter and more compact vehicle structures, while also reducing assembly processes, lowering production costs, and improving manufacturing efficiency.
